Dr. Wu graduated with a PhD from Northeast Agricultural University in China. After serving as reserach assistant professor at Department of Physiology and Biophysics in College of Medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Wu joined CHR in May 2013.

![]() Andrea Weghofer, MD, PhD, MBA, MS | After graduating from Medical University Vienna, Dr. Weghofer is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University Vienna, where she concentrates on In Vitro Fertilization and Reproductive Genetics. Dr. Weghofer has maintained a close research relationship with CHR for many years, where she also visits in regular intervals. She is, therefore, very familiar with CHR's clinical and research protocols and actively participates in some clinical trials. Read more about Dr. Weghofer on our affiliates page.
![]() Aritro Sen, PhD | Dr. Sen has over 10 years of experience in Molecular Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Sen was born and raised in India, where he did his undergraduate in Microbiology from Bangalore University, followed by a Masters degree in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta. Thereafter he obtained his Ph.D. from the Cell and Molecular Biology Program at West Virginia University. Following his PhD, Dr. Sen completed two post-doctoral fellowships, one from the Department of Animals Sciences at Michigan State University and the other at the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. Dr. Sen is currently working as a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Sen's research focuses on understanding (i) the role of androgens and (ii) local effects of obesity on ovarian function and female fertility. Dr. Sen and colleagues through generation of a rodent model have recently pioneered the concept that critical androgen actions in the ovary, specifically in the granulosa cells of the follicle, are absolutely essential for normal ovarian function and female fertility. This work greatly complements the clinical interests of CHR in androgen dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) treatment of women with low ovarian reserve. Dr. Sen is the author of numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and acts as an ad-hoc reviewer for a number of journals in the fields of reproduction and endocrinology. He has also been invited to talk about his research at various international conferences and universities.
Division of Statistics

Her research interest lies in both statistical methodology development and application of statistical methods to the design and analysis of studies in clinical research. Specifically, her interest is focused on model averaging/selection for semiparametric regression models, variable selection for high-dimensional data, longitudinal data analysis, HIV dynamic modeling and survival analysis. Dr. Yu joined CHR in May 2013. |
