EcoDEP: CHR's Frozen Donor Egg Program at Cycle Cost of $14,950*

EcoDEP is a low-cost egg donation program that uses frozen donor eggs that have been retrieved and frozen in advance - an innovative alternative to the traditional, "full-featured" egg donation program. CHR developed this frozen donor egg program to improve the cost-effectiveness of our services: The cycle cost for EcoDEP is $14,950, medications included*. In EcoDEP, a recipient will receive five (5) frozen donor eggs. These eggs will be thawed, fertilized with either partner's or donor's sperm, and the resulting embryo(s) will be transferred to the recipient's uterus.

CHR is always motivated to improve patient care, to innovate what our medical specialty can offer (i.e., spearhead new clinical services), and improve cost-effectiveness (i.e. reduce costs to our patients in this very costly medical field). Eco-Donor Egg program (EcoDEP), as we will further explain below, fulfills all of these criteria, and we consider this a very worthy new addition to the menu of clinical services CHR offers, even though we already have a successful and eminently popular egg donation program.

*This cost does not include pre-testing and/or extra services necessary to address any male factor infertility.
