Significant experience with gender selection | CHR pioneered gender selection with IVF and PGD after the Ethics Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) in principle approved the concept of elective gender selection in general (Gleicher N, Karande V. Gender selection for nonmedical indications. Fertil Steril 2002;78:460-2). Since then, we have performed many gender selection cycles for close to two decades. |

Couples in many other countries seek treatment in the United States, to legally pursue the dream of completing the family, or avoiding certain genetic diseases presenting only in one gender. A world-renowned specialist in reproductive endocrinology, Dr. Gleicher has published hundreds of peer-reviewed papers and lectured globally while keeping an active clinical career focused on ovarian aging, immunological issues and other difficult cases of infertility.
