Affordable Fertility Treatments
Making the Cost of Fertility Treatments Affordable
Fertility treatments can be expensive, and many insurance plans do not cover many of the fertility treatment options. Recognizing that effective fertility treatments are out of reach for some patients, CHR has developed a number of fertility treatment programs at affordable costs.
EcoIVF (Low-Intensity IVF Program)
EcoIVFis a form of low-intensity IVF program, sometimes also called Mini IVF. At a total cost of $6,990, patients in EcoIVF program receive smaller dose of less intensive ovarian stimulation medications. Less intensive ovarian stimulation generally results in smaller number of eggs and embryos, and lower cumulative IVF pregnancy rates when compared to standard IVF cycles. This low cost IVF program is recommended only to women under 38 who has normal ovarian reserve.
A recent analysis of our standard IVF and EcoIVF programs revealed that there may not be any significant cost benefit in EcoIVF, because the pregnancy rates are lower in EcoIVF, requiring patients to go through more cycles to get pregnant. The only demonstrable benefit is the lower dosage of the medications used, which results in less frequent monitoring and generally less stress and efforts involved.
Discount IVF Programs
For patients without health insurance coverage for IVF whose annual household income fall below certain thresholds, CHR offers three discount IVF programs. For a complete list of discount IVF programs, explanation of what are included, and conditions, please visit the discount IVF program page.
In addition, as long as men and women of the U.S. military have to put themselves in harm's way, on the country's behalf, we feel a strong obligation to reciprocate as well as we possibly can. Therefore, CHR is offering special military discounts for service men and women in need of fertility treatments, including IVF. For details on the IVF military discount, please contact us.
Shared Risk (Refund) Program
IVF Shared Cost (Shared Risk) Programs divide potential financial risks between patients and provider. In a way, they can be considered "mini-insurance programs" for the infertile couple that does not have access to medical insurance coverage for fertility services.
CHR offers three different Shared Risk programs. A full list of refund programs and explanations are available here.
Eco Donor Egg Program (EcoDEP)
A latest addition to our affordable fertility treatment programs, Eco donor egg program offers frozen donor eggs at an all-inclusive cost of $17,850, less than half of the average cost of standard egg donation programs. This low cost donor egg program utilizes frozen donor eggs, and the cost includes ICSI, AZH and all the medications. For details of the program and a list of immediately available donor eggs, please visit the EcoDEP page.
Multiple IVF Cycle Program
Multiple IVF Cycle Program (MICP) is a unique and innovative program for women with severely Diminished Ovarian Reserve (DOR) at all ages, available only at CHR. Under this program, qualified women are offered up to four (4) IVF cycles for a greatly reduced package price of $41,500 for all CHR-related cycle costs.. Medication and outside laboratory costs are not included.
The multiple IVF cycle program benefits women who would need many IVF cycles to conceive. If you have failed IVF cycles elsewhere, or have high FHS and/or low AMH, suggestive of diminished ovarian reserve, you may qualify for this program. Please visit the multiple IVF cycle program page for details.
