Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): Lower Pregnancy Chances Than In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IUI, or artificial insemination, is a less costly infertility treatment than IVF, but because IUI has much lower pregnancy rates than IVF (even in women over 40), some patients benefit from going straight to IVF rather than trying many rounds of IUI.
