PGS and IVF Success Rates

The use of preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) to improve IVF success rates is becoming more prevalent in recent years with technical improvements in diagnostic accuracy. However, data suggests that PGS actually reduces pregnancy rates and the CHR cautions against routine PGS for the purpose of improving IVF pregnancy rates, especially in women with diminished ovarian reserve.
